I had a TomTom but it was old and broke i think. Then I got a new Tomtom and nothing really improved with the navigation from my old one. So then I got a Garmin which is arguably worse. So I'm going back to the Tomtom I thinkchronicthehedgehog wrote: Mon Oct 09, 2023 1:43 pm I gave up on sat-navs a while back. I held out against Google for ages as it used to be slow and my Tom-Tom still had the edge. I bought a new Tom-Tom One a couple of years back but it was so slow. Now I just use Google. I find it pretty good at rerouting around traffic.
I think the Tomtom doesn't have a good enough CPU as when going around a roundabout, it hangs then jumps , so I end up missing turns or going in the wrong lanes etc as it doesn't update fast enough.
