DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

ST536 STE EDITION

Post by exxos »

In light of discussions over in the for sale thread. I have started to plot a more specific STE version.

I'm still not sure if there would be enough height for the CPU to go into a socket. But the shielding could actually be cut around that area anyway. My hope is that there will be enough room and that the shielding could actually be used as a heatsink for the CPU.

Please note because of my RSI I'm not able to do much routing on this at any one time. But I have made a start.

I think you could be 'on the money' with this. I'd certainly solder a CPU if it meant having it so conveniently inside an STe. There are two 020 STe projects being released at the moment, so I think this kind of device is definitely something people want and the enthusiasts would punt for an 030 over an 020.

With a little tweaks it becomes like "mob programming" : the person on the chair is "the driver" i.e. just do what the others ("navigators") tell him to do.

I just realised that's the ROM mounted above the CPU pins! Genius.
