A600 Keyboard nightmare...

I have an A600 with one of these in it...

And i hate them. They need very firm key presses to make a keystroke happen if it happens at all. I want to figure out what the original membrane was (blue/green) so i can get this to flip and replace it.

I'm sure someone will say i just need to do something with the plungers but all thats happened is where the maintenance is required has moved.

Hi fella ! , to tell which keyboard membrane your case needs look at the picture I did of a Green PCB type keyboard case, compare it to the one you have and there will be slight difference for the Blue PCB case

I found a spare green one and it fits. So we're good. The reason i'm attacking some 600s is to let h0ff and Ravi play a set without needing to bring machines to scotland.

There is no way they'd have been happy with that pcb type membrane. it was really frustrating to use.

try adding a sheet or two of copy paper between the plate and the back of the PCB?

They're already thicker than the real membranes. I just don't think pcb membranes are a good idea.
