@PhilC Excellent - that will be really helpful (not least to know it woks with a TF536)...and I can even use that CF card you provided in the TRUDIE!
:thanksblue: :bravo:

Next trick is to work out how to copy the image from that CF card onto a new 8Gig CF card I've recently bought...

Well, long story short - I got very bored in a long Teams meeting...so I ended up swapping the EPROM from my H5 (with a problem accessing the floppy drive) into my H4...and that has TOS 2.06 in the second image... :D ...and boots to the desktop OK (eventually - the memory check & HDD init times seem interminable...unless compared to a certain Teams meeting that is!).

It also showed just how bright the video output from the H4 is, so I really must sort out lifting those three pins on the video DAC soon as well!

So I might get a chance to do a test with the TF536 with that first & then look into programming up another EPROM with the latest released EmuTOS 256k image at some point...

Does anybody know of any issues with running any EmuTOS 256k image on a TF536? Hoping to save myself the time of erasing & re-programming a 27C4096 EPROM if there is any issue with the latest release...

I didn't have any problem with EmuTOS and TF536.

Triple 1 version (v1.1.1)

EDIT: I even got a video of it running some stuff.

@PhilC I tried that image in one of my Hitachi 27C4096 EPROMs but the H4 wouldn't boot with that - with the jumper in either position (it does boot with TOS 2.06 selected in my 1.04/2.06 with the TF536 present, however).

Not sure if it's the 'wrong' image for my TLS866 programmer (and not had time to check further).

Also, I can't get the floppy (A) drive to open when the TF536 is installed, always reports the drive is damaged (but the same floppy etc. works fine without the TF536 fitted).
Possibly cache related?

With a vanilla 68k fitted, the system boots to the desktop from the CF card plugged into TRUDIE OK (HDDriver 11)...but again that isn't working with the TF536 fitted (even when back using TOS 2.06 from the original EPROM). The flying INT lead from the TRUDIE is connected, so I was expecting TOS 2.06 to boot Ok (but I'm not sure I've tested that with the vanilla 68k...but it is OK with the modified TOS1.04)

So, with no working floppy & no hard drive I'm not sure how I can go about turning off the caches.

Any ideas anybody?
I'm tempted to remove the TF536 & re-fit the 64 pin 68k in the same socket & re-test it all...just to be sure!

But this is basically where I got to with the TF536 many months ago...before I fitted the TRUDIE.

Note that my TF536 is still running the original Atari ST firmware as when supplied by PhilC (so I am not trying to use the IDE connected on that board).

After my recent 600XL experience, I'd be tempted to say 'go back to stock' and work up from there.
