Thinking about getting one once work is completed on it. Thank you.
I use the stock PSU. There is a lot more room in a CD32 for cooling fans etc.

I keep saying this and people keep asking....

Everything on the 060 TF cards is 3.3v and they have buck converters. They dont have the diodes of fire, the Xilinx chips use very little power so the whole thing is very efficient compared to older tech with 5v GALs.

When i bring these cards up i usually do it with a HP 6632B PSU so i can see the power draw and use the current limiting functionality in the event of a short. The TF cards will run on a very saggy 5v rail. right down to about 3.7v... of course your amiga is going to crap out before that but its not like the old days when your PSU needed to hold 5v with the accelerator in. The 060 TF cards are basically 3.3v devices.

A new PSU is a good idea but it will work in the first instance with most stock PSUs. Its designed to be not at all fussy about power supplies.

EDIT: also remember most 060 cards are designed as dual 040/060 cards. The TF1260/360 cards are exclusively 060. That makes a big difference in the power supply requirements

Hello
How are things going with the TF360 r3? What does progress look like?

It was parked as we werent getting anywhere. Only @alenppc had issues. Planning to release it as is soon. My guess is there wont be much interest.

The issues were getting a stable overclock but i guess thats less important on a CD32 than a 1200 etc.

I've been wanting to get a TF328 or TF330 but thought that maybe I'd hold off for a TF360.

The form factor of the CD32 is more living room friendly than A1200.

I think a few people will be tempted :).
Hidden 060s are already waiting for TF360, as many people would like to have the ultimate CD32 version.
