Another TF addition I am looking forward too.

I love my 060 accelerators but getting them fixed when they break is a nightmare and usually not acheviable if the CPLD's have screwed up, at least with these there is good support at the mo.

The plan for this card is to get on with it once the TF360 is sorted and latest 1260 fw is out, I'm very close

Looking forward to this too - I went ahead and got a "cheap" rev 1 060 so I can swap out the rev 6 on an A3660 and use it for the TF4060.

Hi. I'm new to the forum and have joined specifically because of my interest in the TF4060 and TF360 projects. I've even sourced a couple of CPUs in anticipation!

I'm a bit confused about how to go about acquiring a board when the design is ready for release. I've obviously seen TF1260s and 1230s for sale from the usual Amiga retailers, but there have been comments about the 4060 and 360 only being made by "selected builders" in small batches. How do you make contact, get in the queue, make payment, etc. please? Can I pay a deposit to secure my place?

Sorry for what may be silly questions: I've only recently come back to the Amiga after about 20 years and I'm still finding my feet with this stuff. All the new small-scale hardware projects are fantastic, and I have some cash that I want to splash in their support :)

Design complete means I’ve ordered a board and I’m working on making it functional.

When it’s actually working Chucky, AlenPPC et al will be offering boards here and Amibay.

We’ve working a huge amount on the TF360 in the last 6 months and haven’t got the results we’d hoped for . I did a bit of an explanation on my recent YT live stream

Thanks for the super-fast response. I was just trying to establish where to keep an eye out for them.

I was trying to avoid Amibay tbh...the 'unique' transaction systems/rules were putting me off, and then I found I couldn't even register anyway. That seems to be fixed now, so looks like I'll be off there shortly to make an account!

Just keep an eye on this forum or sub to my YT Channel and I’ll make an announcement when it’s ready

Any idea what the card might cost? I understand the 060's pricing. But I wonder what a completed card might retail at (minus the 060)?

Honestly i cannot answer this. The CPLDs are currently £100 if you can get them. The ICE40s are not available at all. Chip prices are silly right now.

BTW do not moan about any price of a TF card being sold right now. The chip prices and practices of the sellers (even reputable ones) are a disgrace.
