I don't know if such a thing exists so I made one.I needed a IDE buffer for the TF in my 1200, I made the one on the left first but it was too high, after a redesign I think I’ve sussed it
Had to make it as short as possible but got there in the end, I really did squeeze every last .001mm out of it
Picture for reference

Looks very neat.
Are you interested in making more and selling them off?

Re: IDE Buffer For 1230
I only had 5 boards made as it was just experimental. I could make them to sell I suppose but that wasn’t my intention, I just like designing something then seeing the end result, a work end result is a bonus

Re: IDE Buffer For 1230
Feel free to use it. I only wanted one for myself, I never intended to make any money from it.
I accept no responsibility for global melt down, death, fires, butt hurt or anything that isn't good. I've tested it and has worked fine for myself, but use at your own risk blar blar blar, you know the drill.
Bom is simple
U1 - 74HCT14PW (RS Stock number 146-0375)
U2-U4 74HCT245PW (RS stock number 219-4283)
C1-C4 100nf 0603
Ive taken note from TF's comment and added a licence to the zip, CC-BY.

I have disapproved several posts begging for gerbers... Let me phrase what they're asking in a better way..
Have you given any thought to releasing the sources and if so what license did you have in mind?

There's a very similar design on amigaworld.de. The owner, Matthias Münch, has reason to believe it was "borrowed" here without his consent. His license forbids commercial use, btw.

Re: IDE Buffer For 1230
Ah this thief who steals other peoples designs (clockport) and doesnt give credit. An IDE buffer is a well understood and widely known thing. Unless its exactly his artwork he's screwed. The TF536 has an ide buffer in it... does that belong to him too? I think Matthias doesnt have a leg to stand on. He may get a TF4060 silkscreen item dedicated to his behaviour.
EDIT: Unless you have a patent on an IDE buffer you've not got a leg to stand on. Its too simple and an obvious design to do in eagle. I can do one from scratch in 20 mins.

Well, just to make one thing clear: I'm not anybody's advocate here and I won't take sides.
I find this "It's mine! No, I made it!" attitude in our hobbyist community rather annoying, tbh.
Anyway, back to topic...
