The emulator section contains emulators that run on the Mac to emulate other platforms, so I wasn't sure I was looking in the right place but I think it needs

The second link you had is the one I used and then downloaded #2 listed as "Basilisk II - Download #2"

In this file you will find multiple 128mb .dsk images for various versions of MacOS.

You can find .dsk images for Basilisk II on Macintoshgarden in the emulator section

I tried those .dsk images with the CT63 and got the message that they were from an older version of MacOs that doesn't support my machine (Quadra 650 roms)

figured out my own issues with the display. Looks like when running in RGB mode (64k @ 640x400) I get the proper color output. Running in VGA mode with 256 colors provides the carnival colors.

No success.

Under Mint Basilisk crashes shortly after starting.

Under TOS the disks... button is greyed out and Basilisk locks up on exit.

My Milan is very unstable with TOS, it never used to be. I'm not sure what is going on.

Under Mint you need to turn off memory protection per earlier posts in this thread if you haven't already done that.

Did you rename the .dsk image to hdd.dsk or edit the .inf file to call a different .dsk name?

I don't use mp because it causes issues with other apps.

I changed the inf entry to 70.dsk but I will try the alternative.

Renaming the file didn't help.

Starting Basilisk under mint and then just clicking quit from the menu causes a system lock up.

Woohoo! Got this working. I pulled a new Quadra Rom and also used the 7.17.22 version of Atari Basilisk II.

Using the Falcon with CT63 running in RGB mode interlaced, 64k color, and emulated video. I was able to run with 256 colors and boot up Civ 2 and run for a while.

Big thanks to @Badwolf for his help on his video suggesting trying one of the previous versions versus the latest.
