Sting looks like a nighmare to install and configure so will give it a try under Mint first and see what happens.

Re: Hatari disk image on BlueSCSI ver 2
Quick question. I just ordered my BSv2. Can I format the disk the same way as the ide cf card; i.e., connect the blue scsi to the falcon and use HDDriver to partition it.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Nope, it's a totally different process.
The instructions are available on the web site, but in a nutshell you need to create an image on a Windows/Linux/Mac system and copy that to the SD card.
Naming conventions are particularly imprtant to get correct, and you MUST format your SD card using the SD card formatter tool and then format it a exFAT or FAT32.
You can then mount the image in Hatari, partition it as you want and install the driver - then you should be good to go.
Missing out the low level initial format caused me no end of weird problems but after doing that it was plain sailing - it's also simple enough to set up the wifi functionality.
Happy to talk you through the process when you have the device.
Many thanks,
Simon
