I was very worried when I saw Hermes, but the seller did an amazing packing job.

The box is tatty, only to be expected, but the machine is tidy and really only needs a good clean.

I need to open it up and give it an inspection prior to the grand power up 😁

Wow that is packed well. The Enterprise had one layer of bubble wrap. May as well not bothered as it wasn’t helping at all.

I know, and that only made me want one more. I had one when I was younger and rather liked it 😁

You do indeed need one 😁

Those rubber keys... Are they really worse than the Spectrum's?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I'll have to remind myself, it's been a long time since I used an Aquarius, but I don't remember them being that bad TBH.

I think the French made Alice was more useless.

The first model was just a copy of the US Tandy TRS-80 MC-10, in a toy-like red colour.

IIRC they have one of these at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge, tiny little thing. Very very red!

Its "more evolved" sister, the Alice 90, was from far better looking but still red.

I was considering getting one, but once you see how games on this retro computer looked and performed, you do not feel any more like in the mood...

And when you see how much they ask for its unsuccessful successor, you are entering the twilight zone.
