Expands the RAM to 64K and gives SD card storage, looks pretty neat :)
I have been thinking to buy one of those for a while, but I do have Plus1, Pegasus 400 disk drive controller and Mega Games Cartridge. And I mainly use cartridge because it is easiest to use.

I know what you mean, I have an 800XL with 2x1050 drives, but almost entirely use my SIDE3 as it is so much more convenient, and I am going the same way for pretty much all my retro machines where possible.

The ELKSD64 arrived yesterday, I have 64KB of RAM and an SD card for disks.

Thought I should check out Elite :)

Have to say the composite output is very sharp.

Looking good!
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Is it monochrome output?
When you do colour mod, then colour bleeding is quite bad. Obviously best it to use RGB

Yes, the composite is mono, and though I have modded my BBC Bs for colour composite, I will leave the Electron as is. I have an RGB cable for my BBC B that works just fine with the Electron and through my OSSC. Looks nice and sharp:

Elite appears to run in monochrome regardless.

I wonder if the full BBC version of Elite (rather than Electron specific one) will work on the expanded machine.

I'll try it later, but I guess if it's a screen mode the Electron can't do, it'd be a no.

Loads and screen corrupts, so no it doesn't work on the Electron it would seem.
