What UV solder mask and cure lamp do you recommend?

Post by kbjunkie »

Hi All,

I normally use Mechanic UV curable solder mask and a cheap Chinese UV lamp (that takes AGES to cure the soldermask!).

I wondered what you guys use/recommend for both the soldermask and the UV lamp to cure it? I'm looking for the best/quickest solution that doesn't take ages to apply/cure?

Thanks!

I'd be interested too as I have been using clear lacquer and allowing it to cure, but I'd rather go for proper green stuff.

I used to use clear nail polish - and that seemed to work just fine..

The better half doesn't buy it anymore though, so I can't steal it :-)
