Yes, I tested STE low/med/high resolutions, and then a bunch of Falcon resolutions. It handled the low/med resolutions great but ST high not so well (see first couple of posts in thread).ijor wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:43 pmAh, you tested it only with a Falcon. But I understand @stween tested it with a STE, right? Or this monitor was tested with Falcon only so far?stephen_usher wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:39 pm I don't know. I don't have an ST -> VGA cable to try it.

Re: Acer KA242Y: pretty nice!
Not surprising as ST-High is very out there when it comes to timing. The pixel clock is nowhere near the VGA one, so it's not surprising that it couldn't sync properly. The same symptom as on the Amiga.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
