Reference Photographs

Post by rubber_jonnie »

Given that my other hobbies, karate and shooting, are currently unavailable due to coronavirus, my brain has been much more focused on Atari.

Today I thought it might be good to start a reference photograph section. Often when you dismantle something, an unexpected event means you lose track and have to trawl through the internet to find what it should look like. Sometime you might get an item that is missing parts and need to see what something should look like.

I'll start the ball rolling with a picture of the rubber dome placement for an Atari ST keyboard:

This was taken today a part of a keyboard refurb and on lifting the keys, every dome stayed put.

If you have any useful reference photos that you can add, please do so, and thanks in advance.

Interesting, I'd have to go and check. I'm guessing the one you posted only has one dome for the Return key?

I'll look and post later.

I know the pic I posted was good because I'd literally just lifted the keys off and none of the domes moved (For once!)

My keyboards also have only one dome under Return key. I think someone had previously "been there", and thought that he had lost one, so he got one extra from eBay, and put it there ;)
