Has anyone seen rainbow coloured bands down the display when using one of these? I notice that the CT60 splash screen displays perfectly, then when the screen goes white for memory test I get the coloured bands rotating (at character height, over every row of text).
I did wonder if the internal fan was contributing to this - I noticed on RF there are diagonal lines that came into play when I reconnected the fan.
Suggestions?

Never heard of that. The adapter isn't much past a a straight through adapter. Try different monitor lead ? Monitor ? What does the diagnostic RGB show up like ?

Quick question. Would these cables be good to provide the power to the adapter?

Should be OK, its just a standard USB cable. Just don't us "quick chargers" as they can surge up several volts.MegaSTEarian wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 6:14 pm Quick question. Would these cables be good to provide the power to the adapter?

Just wanted to say thanks to Daniel and exxos for this great product.
My stock Falcon produces a crystal clear image in combination with my 1024x768 display:

One small pice of feedback in case there's a future revision: A micro USB (or USB-C?) plug as power source would be a better choice over USB-A in my opinion since those cables are more popular and everyone probably has dozens of them lying around ready for action.

I have designed a new board, but I lost the prototype and just not had chance to work on it since. so I just got the original ones made as I still had a lot of PCBs left anyway.

Re: 3-in-1 monitor adapter soon available in exxos store
I've designed and printed a cheesegrater case for the adaptor because everything is nicer cheesegrater style: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4637684
High-res pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/NzNBwMkZuM9L5cqE9
The photos are from v0.9 and I have since fixed the remaining gaps. If your PLA tends to shrink you might want to print this >100% scale since it's a snug fit, but it worked at 100% for me. Post-processed with sandpaper (wet) and some 303 aerospace protectant.

Great! Glad you're happy with it and I love the case you designed for it! Wish I had a 3D printer!
