Daniel I'll send you one if you PM me your address (and if you have the same board layout?)

My stock Falcon produces a crystal clear image in combination with my 1024x768 display.
Great! Glad you're happy with it and I love the case you designed for it! Wish I had a 3D printer!

So I purchased one of these awesome adapters a couple of weeks ago. I searched on Thingiverse to see if there was a 3D printable case....I must have searched badly because there is a great one there. That said, I designed my own that is also published to Thingiverse.

The original one (that I missed somehow):

My version...I'm lazy and hate needing to find screws glue etc, so it is 100% print and assemble:

Cheers

LOL! I'd be happy adapt to it if you can get me the dimensions approximate x, y, z and where the PCB holes relative to one of the sides. I'm not too good with circuitry, but am pretty handy with 3D modeling (mechanical engineer) and designing for 3D printability.

Cheers

Cool. Be a few weeks before I get the boards back from fab anyway.

Finally got the new boards and they should start appearing in stock hopefully very soon.

As mentioned previously. These do not have the on/ off switch any more. The oscillator is automatically powered down when the Falcon is turned off. So there is no need to disconnect the USB power to change the oscillator. Obviously you should not change oscillator with the Falcon turned on anyway!

ORANGE LED - Denotes USB power.
GREEN LED - Denotes OSC power ON (when the Falcon is turned on).

I do not recommend using phone charges or fast chargers. Use a proper 5V USB adapter.

I also sell USB cables to fit.

50MHz OSC if needed.

What does it actually use the oscillator for?

Can it be operated without external power and oscillator as merely a port converter dongle?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

It feeds the Videl with a faster clock so you can get higher resolutions using the blowup software.
