Some random requests for the show:

1. Does anyone know either Amiga Bill or Steve Jones well enough to ask a small favour from?

2. Does anyone have any spare Jagpads and/or a Jag TeamTap unit?

If you can help out with ANY of the above, please PM me. TIA :D

I have just had some great news!

So, representing 'Team Exxos', the forum and the Phoenix project, we will have @Icky attending the event.

I believe he is planning to do a talk on current and future plans for the Phoenix platform.

However, I am sure he can expand on what his plans are when he is ready to do so.

Anyway, that covers something that I couldn't possibly do, so I am very pleased that he has decided to attend.

Thank you Icky. :cheer:

Maybe someone can video the event for all us slackers ?

Whilst I can’t state my intention to go, I retain the aspiration, should the planets align.

I’ve had a look at the calendar as it stands so, to answer the original questions I think a Saturday is more likely doable than a Friday. Later in the month the better (first two weeks definitely out for me). An earlier slot for those going out and back same day would also be a plus.

I’d be happy to bring some DFB/DSTB demo stuff too and probably record a bit of video, if I make it.

@Badwolf That sounds very promising.

A few of us were hoping you could make it, what with your prolific hardware output and all! :D Would be great if we could get those pesky planets aligned for you.

The event timing has also been discussed briefly, with the possibility of hiring the hall for the whole day for the very scenario you have outlined.

Leave it with me. I think this will definitely have to be done to help ease the travel situation for any other people with this problem.

I may try and make it but won’t know till a bit nearer to the day. Sounds like it’ll be an interesting day.

Great stuff @Steve and @PhilC. Would love to see you there if you can make it. Let me know please. :)

So..

Have now phoned and I have reserved the hall for the 24th Sept.

I have tried to extend the hours to give flexibility for people who want to turn up earlier and not have to travel back late.

The best I can do for that particular day is 2pm-1130pm. Would this be ok?

If this time window is too tight for anyone PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP and I can change the day before it's too late. (Next few days or so would be great, as I have to make a move soon to avoid losing the slot to some other function) Thanks.

I can't speak for all but that sounds great, thanks for sorting out.
Gives a bit of travel time and to grab a bite to eat.

Seems to be coming together nicely 👌.

Hopefully have a few more names to confirm as attending too. 🙏
