@rubber_jonnie

Thanks ! The break was good but as always too short... 8-)

BTW, any chance to have the pictures placed correctly ?
It's best to rotate before uploading TBH but I'll see if I can get them sorted for you. 3-6? Can you let me know how they need to be rotated.

That's what I always do before uploading an image, but it's sometimes upside-down once the image uploaded.

:(

And this time, the rotate function didn't work too.

:( :(

It would be great if you could rotate images 3 to 6 at 90° anticlockwise.

Many thanks !

Pictures should be sorted, let me know if not what you were expecting.

Played a bit with the Henkan Bancho and hard drives images this morning, and it's what I got.

Boot screen at start-up from HDD:

1.JPG (492.99 KiB) Viewed 67 times

Parodius:
2.JPG
2.JPG (231.79 KiB) Viewed 67 times
3.JPG
3.JPG (171.38 KiB) Viewed 67 times

Akumajo Dracula:

5.JPG
5.JPG (317.87 KiB) Viewed 67 times
6.JPG
6.JPG (367.02 KiB) Viewed 67 times

As you can see, the screen is not centered most of the time but some games allow a perfectly centered screen.

Tinkered the monitor settings but nothing changed... :(

I guess I will have to get another monitor for my X680000 sooner or later.

Nice.
You need to update your HD image, there is a better v2.20 one on nfgames forum 8-) .
Regarding monitor there is a little trick which might help:
Load Switch.x and change background colour from Black to say Purple. Your monitor then should detect the edges of the X68000 output and hopefully centralise better. Once done you should be able to change background back to black. But if you press 'Auto' on your monitor you will have to do it again.

@Higgy

Yes, I have the v2.20 image but I didn't try it yet.

The one I was playing with is the 68030 one.

Didn't know the monitor trick. I will try it ASAP. Thanks !

I plan to buy a SHARP CZ-606D but I think a Mitsubishi DiamondStar would be a better and cheaper solution...

For the 2.20 image pretty sure there is a command line option for if you have a 030 (maybe FPU also?). There is also a nice 030 X68K logo you can have at boot.

Lovely graphics on these machines, nice work so far, hope you sort the screen centering easily.
