@rubber_jonnie mine had never been an issue but then I replaced my PSU board with a DC low voltage one, so no AC anywhere near my Saturn.

I do have some CD games still and will likely keep them.

This is my fave console and its amusing that it took a lot longer to download all the games I put on the SD Card than it did to install it all.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

I know what you mean, I think it took longer to open up the Saturn and remove the old CD drive than to install the Fenrir. Trying to suss out the WiFi aspect ATM.

@PhilC Thanks for putting me onto Batsugun, it's epic bullet hell and made by Toaplan, who made a truck load of vertical scrolling schmups including a personal favourite of mine, Tiger-Heli, which I have on Evercade :)

Also, it looks like the PSK/Fenrir doesn't quite work as it's suggesting I downgrade the Fenrir, though the option in PSK is there. The Wifi doesn't seem to work at the moment either and the web page does suggest it's WIP.

And the Fenrir install is complete with the addition of something to fill the hole:

An adapter and 3d printed mount.

Fitted and tested :)

No chance of dropping stuff inside anymore :)

BTW @PhilC in case you haven't tried Alien Trilogy, I just tried it and it's really rather good.

I've managed to pack about 26GB worth onto an SD card, which caught me off guard when I wanted to change to a standard SD rather than a micro SD and adapter and didn't have any decent sized standard cards!

Holey slots, Batman! :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

:)

It's great, there are 2 storage slots too :) I'd have built it myself, but just don't have the time ATM. For everything else there is eBay :)

@rubber_jonnie that looks just the ticket. So far I’ve put my Schmups onto a 64GB card and have a whole 50GB left, so definitely looking for suggestions of games to try.

If you don't already have it, Radiant Silvergun is a must.

Didn’t I tell you about that one @rubber_jonnie ?

And if you’ve not seen it on DC then you should get Ikaruga.
