I'm assuming at this point that you have Metal Slug?

@rubber_jonnie ive got metal slug 5 on the sd card at the mo, I need to check out reviews for some other games and then have the time to play them.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

I don't have MS 5, just the original, so I do need to look for some of the later ones. Wasn't there a Metal Slug X?

What the hells...

Powered on the Saturn this morning and Nothing other than a black screen. There is definitely a signal so something is going on, but very frustrated.

Wondering if the PSU has gone south...

Damn. The PSU seems to be fine, it's a type C and should be giving 5v/5v/12v, which is is.

Type C PSU power pins front to back are: GND/GND/5v/5v/12v

Oh dear. The fun of maintaining old hardware. :-/
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
