@rubber_jonnie

Yes, but you're getting closer to your goal.

In the meantime, whilst I tinker with LanMan98 I have set the machine up with a nice desktop and now have the Zip drive software and LanMan98 running at boot time.

I'm considering removing the Econet module, since it is never going to see any use (Unless I go mad and decide to network my BBC to the A5000 :o ), and that should then remove the network config panel from the menu bar, giving it a bit more room so it doesn't slide left and right due to too many icons.

Thanks :)

I have just pulled the lid off and removed the econet card, so that is no longer loading the econet software, and I backed up the SD card and BlueSCSI image files while I was there.

I also added a 2nd 1GB BlueSCSI dive file, so I now have a total of 2GB storage over 2 disks and 4 partitions :)

You could try to turn on smb1 and disable smb2, smb3 on a Windows10 computer if that helps?

I've dug out a Win 7 machine to test it out, but in the office today so it won't be happening for a while

As a side note, I was able to get all the necessary components installed to run SMB server. Sadly I didn't have enough memory to run it, so onwards with the Windows 7 shares...

I just checked and I have SMB1 enabled on my Windows Server 2016 as it goes. Going to build a Win7 VM and follow the exact instructions for setting up a share.
