Next time I'll try and remember to add a warning about the lack of progress so no-one sustains any nasty injuries through any 'premature & inadvertent contact with the ground'! ;)

Nope...though I finally managed to get the 84 way sockets for the PLDs just before Christmas. :D

Reason is that I'd installed the TRUDIE board in my H4 to get that working initially (and test some IDE to CF cards) & have been held up on building the other H4/H5 boards, so there's been no urgency to finish off the IDE boards while the TRUDIE & HDDriver 11work so well in that H4.
I've not yet plugged the TF536 board back into the H4 either since getting TRUDIE up & running but maybe this weekend...?

I probably need to program another EPROM so that I can choose TOS 2.06 or EmuTOS for use with the TF536...which sounds like I've given myself yet another job to do (unless I can find an existing 512Kbyte image for the TLS866 programmer on the forum somewhere) - I think I've got that modified TOS 1.04/TOS 2.06 image in the H4 at the moment...unless it's still the 1.04 + the 192k EmuTOS boot image to load EmuTOS from floppy that I used with the TF536 initially (before I has the 256k TOS decoder support)... :?

(Another note to self:- organise & label the 27C4096 EPROMs properly!)

Quickie job tonight, recycling an old 7.5V 1A PSU for use with the Amstrad NC. I had to find a suitable sized barrel jack from my big box o' PSUs, and then join it to the PSU with the polarity reversed as the NC200 requires centre negative. Thanks for that Lord Sugar!!

New PSU is suitably labelled for safety:

And it powers up lovely:

Just need to test out the floppy drive and have a go to see how well the serial terminal software works with the ST diagcart :)

BTW @JezC have you fixed your NC100 yet?

It can, and so can the NC100 apparently!

I need to dig out the link I had to a site that had it now I have a floppy drive to potentially get the files across.

Never ever tried CP/M so it will be a whole new experience for me.
