Man, I should keep hold o' that chip. Saw one for over £70

Anyway. Saw this one:

Turns out it was the one used on my old atari bought in '95:

Could have even been my chip since I sold him my old machine.

I know this is compatible with a 4MB 520STFM so lose nothing by testing it.

Then I'm done. This or the original goes back in and I crack on with music.

The IMP chips may cause you more headaches. Normally you have to add a diode in the 5v line to stop it going nuts.Sometimes they work fine but it's potluck. IMP works fine in a H5  :hide:

Atari. Potluck with even more price.

Yeah. I know, but since that one is so cheap and the one that costs £70 wouldn't o' worked, it's worth a shot before I put the old one back in.

Probably see little people trapped in the screen.

Are you actually using the IMP in the H5?

Yep. IIRC it behaves better then the -38.

Ah, okay. Be interesting to see what it does in this machine. :fire1:

Looking at your image..

https://www.metadata2go.com/result/c573 ... 0615ad5a0a

Your cam is setting rotation 90CW . It shows OK on my tablet in preview...

But uploaded to the forum it gets rotated. So phpbb or the browser must be obating the metadata..

The fix according to the internet gurus is to patch the upload script to remove the metadata. I'll do that tomorrow. But not sure if that will break something else or not,

Been reading this https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2477256. :stars:

Can't make out what the hell is going on. Looks like for some odd reason the extension only works if you turn off image resizing. WTF why ?! And a guy repeatedly asks why and never gets a straight answer.

The original patch is listed which just strips out the metadata. So will just do that. Would be better to have it as a option so users could preview the outcome first
