Sporniket's log on hardware stuff
Re: Sporniket's log on hardware stuff
I finished routing all the traces
The todo list before having a first beta release (I believe that it should comes during June at best, hopefully before summer) :
The todo list before having a first beta release (I believe that it should comes during June at best, hopefully before summer) :
- add the shield for the video circuit (create a footprint and a symbol)
- fix all the DRC violation
- add some missing holes
- work on the copper pours (ground and power planes)
- the silkscreen, to make designators visible and not confusing (hopefully), to help identify control signals for RAM mods. In addition, add some solder mask and labels on some vias to allow easy access to 32/16 MHz clocks

I love this!
Just having this in Kicad could work as a super useful reference, much better than looking at old schematics scans

@agranlund that's the main point of this project
Thanks @tOriman

Re: Sporniket's log on hardware stuff
The level of details is seriously overwhelming my computer, but the ground ring is done.

Re: Sporniket's log on hardware stuff
It certainly does, I used the STE version in Kicad to track all the traces on Bretts STE and it was invaluable, I don't think I'd have fixed it as quickly without it, excellent work that's for sure. well done @sporniket .
