Aluminium light weight CNC kit arrived yesterday for the Giant Panda printer. I have considered an Ali kit before but they have all been th e past exact copies of the printed parts making them heavy. This kit has had the parts redesigned for Ali / CNC and are lighter and on par with the printed components. I may have to rename the printer to the Giant Red Panda as the accent colours for the Ali kit are only available in red. Will see once it's been rebuilt.

Any luck you can give tell me where you got this custom bed ?Icky wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 11:14 am Have settled on the name Giant Panda for this beast. The custom aluminium print bed (550mm x 350mm x 8mm) was delivered last week. It has been milled to provide the four mounting points on each long side. As you can see with the ST case bottom for size, it fits nicely and the heater bed is next to stick to the bottom of the plate.

Thank you for your kindness

Open heart surgery on the Giant Panda yesterday. I think I may have to change its name as the accent colours change from white to red. Giant Red Panda may be. It's going to take a while to finish this upgrade project.

A little disappointing to see that neither of your beverage conveyances are Phoenix mugs.
