While I'm at it I need to find some suitable screws as they are all badly rusted.

I could get some rust converter gel I suppose and give them a bath...

Well, I had a good cleanup of the edge connectors:

Very good result and I'll put a film of contact cleaner over them to help protect them.

Next I need to figure out how to get an odd film off the bottom of the PCB where all the silt was. It doesn't seem to be harmful, but it is aesthetically unpleasing...

Difficult to tell exactly what it is but IPA doesn't shift it.

Need to get the modulator sorted too.
