Hello here from Germany,
i came back to retro gaming back in 2021. After years of using WinUAE i wanted to have the real experience and it started out with a faulty A4000 mainboard which finally Hese (i bet most people here know him anyway) got working. Now i take a look around on how to improve the experience with the A4000. I was watching a TerribleFire (Stephen Leary) YouTube interview and liked the idea that he wants to stay close to the original Amiga experience as possible. I Liked that quote a lot and hopefully the A4000 won´t be the last Amiga for me. My true love is the A600 which i had in my youth, but also the A1200 looks very exciting and is interesting for the future. But the A4000 comes first and needs to be finished with a better turbocard and finally with rtg graphics, but i am not aiming for the ultimate 3D-shooter gaming Amiga. I prefer a good balance between the old and the new possibilities and still having that vibe that got me excited back then.
greetings
Marcel

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
