This is what I've been able to deduce from the various threads. Am I missing someone? Can each builder verify the info?

I had it down to this, but could be wrong.
(I think TKSM's board was one of nowy80Retro)

I answered there but for visibility I'll write here as well.
It's not possible on the current board as the slots only has enough address signals routed to them to cover 16MB.

But as it turns out it was extremely convenient to route one more to the slots so I did that for rev.A2.
Likewise, it looked like it should be very straight-forward to add support for 32MB per slot in the firmware and bios.

One could, at least in theory, run bodge wire for the extra address signal to the simm slots on a rev.A1 board too.

I agree!

I'll do the required firmware and bios modifications. As for an actual 32mb simm, no idea, I'm not super interested in more ram myself but perhaps someone else creates one at some point?

Thanks to @PhilC I got back to looking at bus timing in the Nessi firmware.
Something I've felt has been needed for a while but I haven't done because it stopped being fun last time I went there.
This time I am enjoying it again.

This version has been tested to work on my computer with 50,48,40,32,25 and 4(!) mhz oscillator. And with both 2x and 1x cpu speed.
Something that wasn't possible before due to slightly dodgy and timing sensitive cpu<->mainbus and cpu<->68150 communication.
This version will become the next release assuming it works fine on not just my computer.

And a word of caution, even though I am notoriously bad at doing so myself, I'll have to do the usual recommendation of backing up your disk in case there are bugs that cause IDE access errrors or something like that. In fact, it's probably always good to have backups.. or so they say
