Possible sale of 2 xShort ST STM 520 4MB with ST536 built in

Hi All,

its very possible that I will have a couple of4mb short Sts with ST536s fitted.

They have had the bus resistors changed, roms removed and the ST536 fitted in place of the CPU.

Just checking on whether there is any interest for these right now or not. If not I'll likely keep them and use them at CL2025.

Any chance of an under the bonnet photo, so I can see if I can cram any other adapters/cards in there?

Gotta say, there's almost nothing better than a short ST with ST536 the cutest form factor with great power!

Price wise I need to remember how much I spent on all this. And then there is the @mrbombermillzy special discount to consider.

Oh and I need a better solution for the IDE ideally.

Yes it is a good fit that's for sure. The issue is that the ide is too high for the keyboard to sit down correctly by about 10mm. If the plug and headers were gone it fits nicely. And the floppy port acts as support for the card

I could try and move the IDE "up" the board a bit ?

To clear the keyboard completely you'd need to move it back by about 20mm I think.

Will have a look... You might have to remind mean a few weeks as i've got so much going on currently...

I think @coonsgm soldered the IDE connector on the bottom at some point ?

Not sure if there's room under the ST536 before it hits the MB ?
