He does called it the "1-Chip MSX3" in the Tweet, so maybe these are the same thing?

I can’t help but think it’s another Mist type board that runs an emulator etc etc.

Will wait and see what happens. After all, the new Atari 800 wasn’t worthy of the hype either. Not used mine since the original plug in and test.

Be nice to see what it actually has on offer, but I for one wouldn't like an emulator.

I must admit, I do have a yearning to play around on something with those Yamaha V99xx chips.

They were pretty great spec for the mid eighties.

Not sure I would want to cough up cash for a 'new' FPGA one now though.
