Re: CDTV accelerators?
I wonder how to understand that, because if I remember correctly, according to Toni Wilen (WinUAE developer) AGA and ECS chipsets are run at the same clock speed - 3.5MHz, the CPU needs two bus cycles to access Chip RAM and it has 16bit access to AGA/ECS hardware registers. From the AGA functional ...

Re: CDTV accelerators?
On top of that the ECS chipset is really slow. I wonder how to understand that, because if I remember correctly, according to Toni Wilen (WinUAE developer) AGA and ECS chipsets are run at the same clock speed - 3.5MHz, the CPU needs two bus cycles to access Chip RAM and it has 16bit access to AGA/E...

Re: CDTV accelerators?
I think it's a fact? With a 16-bit ChipRAM bus the 060 spends most of it's extra performance waiting It is a fact that 16-bit RAM causes slowdown. But the question was, is it worth it? That is a matter of opinion. As I mentioned, there is the possibility to add a Zorro slot to the A500/CDTV. Howeve...

Re: OS 3.2 and TF1260 as the only IDE controller
Greetings! Got myself a TF1260, and I have patched my 3.2 ROM to include ehide.device v1.2 (and it works by itself - yes, I checked). But I've ran into an issue, that Amiga won't boot at all, if nothing is on the onboard IDE channel. This issue is described here https://alen.dreamhosters.com/tf1260...

Re: CDTV accelerators?
According to Discord/CS-Lab Warp#warp-cdtv, it has been cancelled. They couldn't get it to work stably enough. They were planning to use a flat cable to relocate the actual turbo to under the CDTV's motherboard or in place of the PSU. Matze tried to use a flat cable for his Diag to Zorro adapter, b...

Re: Amiga 2000 rev 6.2
I have looked at the serial output and unfortunately it doesn't reveal anything other than "no chipmem detected". I have since removed all 8 RAM ICs, soldered sockets and used 8 known working RAM ICs. However, that odd behavior on the HLT and RST lines has remained. Hold down either left ...

Re: A X68000 arrived
@terriblefire Thingverse might have what you need to mount the PicoPSU inside your Pro case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3338243 Or you can probably get the dimensions off the files included. As I think the actual files are not for your PicoPSU PCB. I was thinking cost vs time and say get the...
