If you order 5 sets of components also I too would be interested in buying a kit with PCB plus components from you.
Sure, I'll update here if all parts and PCB's are delivered.

Re: Wanted - ECL-VGA adapter

I've been looking for one too but most are unfortunately out of stock and Legacypixel ships from the US if I'm not mistaken.

So I decided to build my own. I'm about to build the one which is sold at Legacypixels.

Re: Wanted - ECL-VGA adapter

I'm going to build one for myself. As with all pcb manufacturers, there's a minimum order quantity of 5 pcb's so I will have 4 left. If it works, I'll let you know and we will work something out. The PCB's are being manufactured, but take at least another 1 or 2 weeks into account before these are b...

TT ram upgrade from 4Mb to 16Mb

I recently acquired a TT030 with 4Mb TT-ram installed. The TT-ram board looks to be original from Atari and has 4 soldered Mb SIPP memory modules. I wonder if I could desolder the SIPP memory modules, place 30-pin ram sockets and install 4 x 4Mb memory modules? Or do any other memory upgrade options...

Re: ST536 in a Mega ST4

I made a new one yesterday and programmed the Xilinx and rom today (dualtos ST536 rom and emutos 1.3). I soldered the Xilinx with a smaller tip. It now runs without issues, no lock-ups so far. I ran a demo and GB6 a few times and it didn't crash like the first one I built. (never mind the Amiga logo...

Re: ST536 in a Mega ST4

exxos I ordered new ST536 PCB's last week and some related parts. Thanks for your suggestions on how to prepare the pads for soldering the Xilinx. This was the hardest part in my previous build. I ordered a smaller tip (I use a JBC with replaceable tips) as well. I had no issues in the past solderi...

Re: Atari Falcon : all new user and... not really all new problems I think ;-)

Is the new floppy drive compatible with Atari machines? In other words, is this perhaps a PC-compatible floppy drive? Chances are this needs to be modded for it to work in your Falcon. PC-compatible floppy drives are usually jumpered DS1 and this needs to be changed to DS0. Next, like Stephen mentio...

Re: Getting to the end of collecting - Sam Coupe

I fixed one from one of my customers a few years ago and I really liked the machine. I have put it on my wanted list but unfortunately they have become too expensive. As for getting to the end of your collection. I literally ran out of space a few months ago. I now have to store machines on my attic...
