Re: Upgrading my STFM with the best bit of the Amiga
Loved the video and thanks for the shoutout. Surprising how similar both our solutions ended up looking without any coordination.

Re: Potential shipping issue
The USPS never ceases to surprise me with levels of incompetence. I've had international shipments returned to sender because my mail delivery person wouldn't be bothered to walk to the door to get a signature...or even leave a message that they tried. When I had an Amiga 1000 rejuvenator out for de...

Potential shipping issue
exxos Just a heads up that it looks like an order I placed for an H5 board might be in the process of being returned to you (at least that's what the tracking looks like). Funniest part is that the components I ordered for the board itself later that day, sockets, ROM, ports, etc arrived just fine....

Eclipse 2024
Not Atari related at all, but cool nonetheless. I am lucky to live within 5 minutes of totality and was able to hang out with some family friends for the afternoon. Photos are nothing special just taken with my phone. Pre-totality through my "eclipse glasses lenses" and during totality wit...

Re: ATARi 1040STE keyboard vs standard 520/1040ST
I've seen 1 & 3 as well, but not #2 over the 30 or so I've worked on. I would say most of the ST's I've worked on are the older variants of the 520ST and 1040STF from the US. I have worked on a few STe's and the only difference I've noticed in the keyboards between the 1040STF and 1040STe is the...

Re: Another ST series PSU ?
Why not just use a Meanwell RD-35a instead of the RD-50a?
Does the 5v line really need 6a? The other difference is the 12v line but 1A (on the 35a) seems sufficient for the components needing.

Re: Recommendations - Atari Falcon with CT63
I just 3D printed the frame, bought some bits for the leads and the AC bracket (connectors, AC socket, switches...). The speaker is from Centuriontech and the PSU used is a Meanwell RPT-6003 (while the original one is a Traco Power TOP 60316).
Where did you find the STL files? Or did you d...
