CHAPTER 7: The Click menu

7.1 THE CLICK MENU
-------------------

You need to turn up the volume on the computer monitor to hear the
clicks. The clicks are only produced during record. The first click of each
bar is the loudest. The first group of menu choices select the frequency of
the clicks or you may switch them off.

Count In.
If ticked, a two bar introduction will be counted at the start of
record. Click to toggle on or off.

Beep!
You can have a beep instead of clicks from the Atari monitor. The
beeps are louder and pitched at 'C' with the down-beat one octave
higher.

MIDI Clicks are usually assigned to a clave or rim-shot.
You may alter the pitch, channel and velocity of the clicks. The pitch and
velocity values may also be entered by playing a note on your master
keyboard and subsequently clicking in the selected field.
To disable MIDI clicks set both velocity values to zero.
You may direct the clicks to the main or auxiliary MIDI outputs.
The MIDI click setup may be saved using 'Save Preferences'.
