-Registration still costs DM 50,- and entitles you to floppy
disks containing the registered version of the program
(no more 20 second wait upon startup) as well as the user manual
in form of a WordPlus file (possible also an ASCII version of the
same if you ask the author).

-you may contact the author before sending any payment prior to
registration if you have any further queries and in order to sort
 out the details.

The contact and banking information has changed since the
"readme.txt" file was written. The new contact/banking information
 is as follows:

-The docs mentioned that Explorer 32 would work with NVDI.
This was correct at the time, but since then NVDI has been updated
several times, incorporating some new features and changes which
seems to make it incompatible in several ways.

One such problem is the loss of the mouse-pointer, but switching off
"Line A" for NVDI seemed to fix this (using the setup program or
CPX module that came with it).
Other problems have shown up though.

The best solution is probably to disable NVDI when using Explorer 32,
or sticking to an older version of it (as the "readme.txt" file
says, Explorer 32 was compatible with NVDI at the time it was written).

-The setup files are set up with a disk-only system in mind, searching by
default for files on a floppy disk.
If you've installed Explorer 32 on a harddisk, and you want it to
stop searching for a floppy disk each time, do as follows:
-delete (or rename) the "explorer.set" setup file so it can't be read
   by the program.
  -start Explorer 32
-go to the "file" menu, find the "settings" part and select
   "save as.."
save it under the name "explorer.set"

Next time you start the program the correct paths will be selected and
there is no need for a disk to be placed in the drive.
(saving the setup will also include whatever you've changed in the
  "Settings" menu etc.).

-Explorer 32 does not under any circumstance work under the MagiC
operating system (probably not with any other replacement operating
system either. In fact you will be presented with some error messages
 when double-clicking the "Explorer.prg" file.
This does NOT however mean that the program is corrupted! It works fine
under plain TOS on any Atari ST computer.

Explorer 32 (in it's unregistered form) may be freely distributed as
long as all the files are intact and unchanged.
