When enabled it will drop your ISP connection if no data was found to go though your modem.

By default Keep connected will wait 1 minute to see if any data comes though the modem. If no data is found then the drop function will hang-up your connection.

To set a longer check time choose the Options button and change the drop out timer setting to more than 1 minute. If you set to 5 minutes then the drop function will hang your connection up if it finds no data coming in the modem for 5 minutes.

This option is useful for if you get constant bad connections to the Internet. The drop function will notice no data coming in the modem and hang up the line. This should be used in conjunction with the REDIAL option.
