Post by Knez »

Im allways interested in seeing how other people have set up everything in their studio, so I'm sharing mine to get everyone going :)

List of MIDI-stuff:
Kawai K4r
Alesis SR-16
Boss DR-660
Novation Supernova
E-MU E5000 Ultra
Yamaha EX7
Yamaha DX7II FD
Roland MC-505

Computers:
Atari 1040STe 4mb with Unitor-2 and LOG-3 running Notator SL 3.14 and Logic 2.5
PowerMac G5 "Quad" 2.5ghz running Logic Pro 9

And of course a couple of mic's, mixers and other stuff too boring to list ;)

I have been tempted more than once to buy a EX5, but cannot justify it when I have my SY and TG55 fully expanded along with four MU100R modules with six different PLG100 / 150 boards inside. All this is pretty much a monster version of an EX5 anyway. I still have my old Kawai K1r bought in 1990 :)

Your Supernova is a nice synth although I never could come to like the Alesis SR16 no matter how hard I tried; I worked in a few pro music stores / supplier and got to try gear out a lot, even take home. I myself own two Yamaha RY30 machines and one RM50 module and all fully expanded.
