THIRD PARTIES WEBSITES AND MERCHANTS

Related services and offerings with links from this Website, including vendor websites, have their own privacy statements that can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding links within each respective website. Online merchants and others who participate on this Website are encouraged to participate in industry privacy initiatives and to take a responsible attitude towards consumer privacy. However, since AMN does not have direct control over the policies or practices of participating merchants and other third parties, AMN is not responsible for the privacy practices or contents of those websites. You are recommend and encouraged to always review the privacy policies of merchants and other third parties before you provide any personal information or complete any transaction with such parties.

HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND USED

AMN collects certain information from and about its Users and Registered Members three ways: directly from its Web Server logs, the User, and with Cookies.

a. Web Server Logs.

When you visit this Website, it may track information to administer itself and for AMN to analyze its usage.
Examples of information AMN may track includes but is not limited to:

Your Internet protocol address.
The kind of browser or computer you use.
Number of links you click within the website.
State or country from which you accessed the website.
Date and time of your visit.
Name of your Internet service provider.

Pages you viewed on the Website.

b. Use of Cookies

This Website may use cookies to personalize or enhance your user experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web Server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, if you personalize a web page, or navigate within a website, a cookie helps the website to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Hence, this simplifies the process of delivering relevant content and eases website navigation by providing and saving your preferences and login information as well as providing personalized functionality..

AMN reserves the right to share aggregated website statistics with partner companies, but does not allow other companies to place cookies on this website unless there is a temporary, overriding customer value (such as merging into another website or service that relies on third-party cookies).

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. If you reject cookies by changing your browser settings then be aware that this may disable some of the functionality on this Website.

c. Personal Information of Registered Members

Upon your request to become a Registered Member, AMN will request some personal information such as name, address, email, telephone number or facsimile number, account number and other relevant information. You may also be asked to disclose personal information to AMN so that you can be provided with assistance and information. For example, such data may be warranted in order to provide online technical support, troubleshooting, or assist in copyright inquiries. Additionally, AMN may use your name and email address to send you service related announcements from time to time, through the general operation of the service such as when someone sends you a new message. Generally, you may opt out of such emails from your settings page, though AMN reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.

Your privacy and security is extremely important to AMN. AMN takes appropriate precautions to protect its Registered Member's information. AMN may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.

Some of these Web beacons may be placed by third party service providers to help determine the effectiveness of AMN's marketing campaigns or email communications. These Web beacons may be used by these service providers to place a persistent cookie on your computer. This allows the service provider to recognize your computer each time you visit certain pages or emails and compile anonymous information in relation to those page views, which in turn enables AMN and its service providers to learn which advertisements and emails bring you to this Website and how you use this Website. AMN prohibits Web beacons from being used to collect or access your personal information.

USE OF THE SOCIAL NETWORK AREA FOR REGISTERED MEMBERS

This Website has a designated Social Network Area that has additional privacy policies and disclaimers due to its nature of promoting the sharing of information.
When you request a user name and password to access this Website's Social Network Area as a Registered Member, you are responsible for the information you choose to share in your profile, including contact and personal information, pictures, and groups you join. Additionally, you control the Registered Members with whom you share that information through the available Privacy Settings page.

As a Registered Member, you may set up your personal profile, form relationships, send messages, perform searches and queries, form groups, set up events, add applications, and transmit information through various channels. AMN collects this information so that it can provide you the service and offer personalized features. For example, profile information is used by AMN primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the Social Network Area and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. In some cases where your privacy settings permit it (e.g., posting to your wall), other AMN Registered Members may be able to supplement your profile.

Profile information you submit to AMN will be available to Registered Members of AMN who belong to at least one of the networks you allow to access the information through your privacy settings (e.g., geography, friends of friends). Your name, network names, and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the Social Network Area and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines. People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your profile information unless they have a relationship to you (friend, friend of friend, member of your networks, etc.) that allows such access based on your privacy settings.

AMN retains communications sent between Registered Members so that you can return to view prior messages you have sent or easily see your friend list. When you update information, AMN usually keeps a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.

You post all Registered Member Content on this Website's Social Network Area at your own risk. Although you are allowed you to set privacy options that limit access to your profile and personally identifiable information, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. AMN cannot control the actions of other Registered Members with whom you may choose to communicate with and share information. Therefore, AMN cannot and does not guarantee that Registered Member Content you post on this Website will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. AMN is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on this Website. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of Registered Member Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Registered Members have copied or stored your Registered Member Content.

Any improper collection or misuse of Content and information provided on this Website is a violation of AMN's Terms of Service and should be reported to the administration at atarimusicnet@yahoo.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

If you choose to use this Website's Social Network Area's invitation feature to tell a friend about this Website, you will be asked for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. AMN will send your friend an email or instant message in your name inviting him or her to visit the Website, and may send up to two reminders to them. AMN stores this information to send invitations and reminders, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, to allow you to see invitations you have sent, and to track the success of the referral program. Your friend may contact AMN's administration at atarimusicnet[at]yahoo[dot]com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request that this information is removed from the database.

AMN may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other Registered Members of this Website through the operation of the service (e.g., photo tags) in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience.
By using this Website, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES IN THE SOCIAL NETWORK AREA FOR REGISTERED MEMBERS

This Website's Social Network Area promotes the sharing information with friends and people in your network while providing you with privacy settings that restrict other Registered Members from accessing your information. AMN allows you to choose the information you provide to friends and networks through the Social Network Area. This Website's Social Network Area's architecture and your privacy settings allow you to make informed choices about who has access to your information. AMN does not provide contact information to third party marketers without your permission. AMN only shares your information with third parties in limited circumstances where AMN believes such sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or, 3) permitted by you. For example:
Your public posts may aggregate the information you provide and make it available to your friends and other Registered Members according to your privacy settings.

Whatever you do and say in the Social Network Area will eventually be found by third party search engine "crawlers" (e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask). AMN takes action to block access by these engines to personal information pertaining to your account registration information.

AMN may provide information to service providers to maintain and deliver its Website. For example, AMN may use third parties to facilitate its business, such as to host the Website at a co-location facility for servers, to send out email updates about AMN, to remove repetitive information from user lists, to process payments for products or services, to offer an online job or affiliate marketing application process, or to provide search results or links (including sponsored links). In connection with these offerings and business operations, AMN's service providers may have access to your personal information for use for a limited time in connection with these business activities. If and when AMN utilizes third parties for the processing of any personal information, AMN will implement reasonable contractual and technical protections limiting the use of that information to specified purposes.

AMN may be required to disclose user information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. AMN will not reveal information until law enforcement or private litigants present legal documentation. Additionally, AMN may share account or other information when it believes it is necessary to comply with law, to protect its interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through this Website or using the AMN name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.
AMN lets you choose to share information with marketers or electronic commerce providers through offers on its Website.

AMN may offer stores or provide services jointly with other companies on AMN. You can tell when another company is involved in any store or service provided on AMN, and AMN may share customer information with that company in connection with your use of that store or service.

The PHPBB3 forum platform may utilize extended plugin modules (“Addons”) that add the capability of sharing actions you have taken on third party websites, such as when you make a purchase or post a review, with your friends on Facebook, MySpace, or similar service and post it on your profile's activity stream. Similarily, AMN may utilize Addons that share action you have taken on AMN and share it with third party websites.

Like many other websites that interact with third party websites, AMN may receive some information even if you are logged out from the Social Network Area, or that pertains to non-AMN Registered Memebers, from those websites in conjunction with the technical operation of the system. In cases where AMN receives information on non-Registered Members, AMN will not attempt to associate it with individual AMN accounts and will discard it.

If the ownership of all or substantially all of the AMN business, or individual business units owned by AMN were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Statement.

When you use AMN, certain information you post or share with third parties (e.g., a friend or someone in your network), such as personal information, comments, messages, photos, videos, Marketplace listings or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos, videos, Marketplace listings or other items , this information may become publicly available.

CHANGING OR REMOVING INFORMATION

Access and control over most personal information on AMN is readily available through the profile editing tools. AMN users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Registered Members who wish to deactivate their AMN account may do so on the My Account page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of AMN.

Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other Registered Members on AMN, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Registered Member) you generally cannot remove such communications.

If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register on AMN or send any information about yourself to this Website, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on this Website. In the event that AMN's learns that it has collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, AMN will delete that information as quickly as possible.
