Which version are you referring to? Notator SL v3.00 is available for download on the front page of http://www.atarimusic.net

I've got a request on the front page as well for someone to crack Notator SL 3.21.

I hd tryed the 3.0 version from here, but in the staff editor when i insert some notes on the stave, notator display random rest and after some click it's crash!!!!!

I tested the Notator v3 crack by MCA tonight on STeem for about 10 minutes entering, deleting, and moving notes without any problem. This could be a hardware in compatibility problem.

I used steem 3.2 and tos 1.06 and 2.06

if i insert some notes, 6 7 or 8 it display infinite rest of 16th after, insert some note and display correctly, next insert other notes and notator freeze!!!!! And also dont' print music!

I'll post a notice under the download tonight then. I sincerely hope there a coder left out there who would be willing to crack 3.21 SL once and for all.

To do this, we need to make this site MASSIVE and draw a lot of attention here from not only the Atari community, but the rest of the alternative platform community too.

Don't know if it helps, but I tried it on Steem and works fine. On the Falcon gives me an error message "Load error!" and then crashes with lots of bombs after the main screen is loaded.

I think it's a crying shame that Notator 3.21 SL was not released as freeware or shareware.
People are still using it because it was brilliant! Yet it's long gone and forgotten...and Gerard and Chris are onto bigger...'Logical' things.

If there's a demand for a product which is no longer available...then why can't we have it free!

Note: the 'cracked' version 3 has been around for years....it's very good for someone to get into Notator, but it's always crashed...mainly in the Notation editor and real-time quantize changes....that dongle key was a really good one!

As a Logic Pro user..I still pine for Notator.....it was the first 'real' sequencer which allowed you to do anything with an imagination! After knocking the steam out of Pro16,Pro24 & Cubase....I wouldn't have had anything else in the '80!

just posting to say that the cracked Notator SL 3.00 also gives me problems running on real hardware (1040STF). It first runs fine and will load the demo song, but after a while of actually working with the program and switching between the pattern editor you will get the "something strange has happened" type message, and this is where things start going bad, with text/UI elements remaining on screen and recorded midi input playing back all at once (say you play some notes.. then press shift+return to insert them into an empty track, playing that back will result in all the notes firing at once at the start of the track).

The only advice anyone can give in this situation is save frequently with slightly differing file names so you can always go back to the last saved version, or at worst the version before that. It was a habit I got into with the terribly buggy Cubase VST5 when first released (Except for version 5.02 which could not save at all!) and Cubase SX version 2 and Cubase 4 on the PC.

I'm a Logic pro user on the Mac these days for some stuff, but a Logic/Cubase user on the Falcon whenever I get the chance to fire the old kit up.
