I have one of these and today I thought I would open it up to have a nosey. I discovered that it is a revision A model, so does this mean I may have problems? I suppose I should just have a quick session with Cubase Audio to find out! I also still have the Steinberg FA8 and this seems to work fine for me, but I got the Soundpool to match the green SPDIF interface
I suppose I could go for a compromise and stick the Steinberg motherboard inside the Soundpool case, but I might want to sell one and keep the other.
So is revision A worth keeping?
Soundpool Falcon Analog 8/4 Interface REV A
Re: Soundpool Falcon Analog 8/4 Interface REV A
As far as I know the Soundpool branded devices always used the higher grade components so you should be ok.
I've had both devices and could interchange them just fine, the only issue I had at the time was I didn't have enough power supplies to run them on more than one falcon...
Not an issue these days though.
