For 3.1
The manual I got is lying. It says it has the following when DEF.ALL file is loaded
split keyboard, fix velocity, modulation transformed into aftertouch, invert keyboard.
none of the 4 above are there what's going on? All I want to do is stop a fussy velocity midi keyboard recording velocity note information.
where is "fix velocity" in Input Transformation?

Never tried to do that as velocity is usually desirable, but if I did it would be the input filter page I would head for first.

ok not sure if that works above.
Anyway, the manual didn't point out the these 4 things weren't labled on-screen. but just called presets. no wonder I was confused.
all sorted now.
Thanks for the help anyway, I looked on that filter box before I made the thread but nothing there to say velocity, for a while I thought it might of been poly-pressue but I've now found out that's something completly different.

Ahh yes the input transformer, a page I very rarely used but in your case it had what you needed.

Sorry for the late reply, but NCGM hit the mail on the head with that.
As useful as the Cubase manual is, there are glaring gaps in it which have never been filled, and sadly now never will be except by people who still use and know the program.
Having said that though, the manual we have is better than no manual at all and most things in Cubase are pretty easy to pick up, though you can tell that it was designed by different people in different areas (some bits follow one set of interface ideas, other bits follow another).
Consistency, where art thou?
