New one on me, can't remember seeing anything about it and I was pretty into that scene from 86 onwards in one way or another (yes even at school).

Must learn more (OCD kicking in there)

I wonder if they ever did Cubase bundles soon after? I must say I would have been jumping for joy, if I had this bundle when it came out! The first sequencer I had if you can call it that, had a one track memory that you could play over to a beat; it was a Casio MT-540. Here are a few photos grabbed from Google.
