Chiptune player for Android phone and tablet owners

Post by mal7921 »

I'm not an Android device owner so have no real experience of this software (I've got Modizer mentioned on the iPhone/iPod/iPad thread), but as Atarisince1989 asked about an android version of the software, I kept an eye out for something similar for MOD and chiptune format files for that platform.

Now there is something being developed and information can be found here :D

I downloaded it today. It's great.

It comes with a ZIP file wich contains 4 folders with examples (8Bit Games, Amiga Mods, C64 Demo and C63 Games). The app reads the ZIP's contents directly, without having to uncompress it.

Adding a Folder in the app, creates automatically a folder in your SD card. I just moved some SAP files with Atari XL music there and the app reproduced it perfectly.

Good to hear. I told an android owning friend of mine in London about it but he's having some installation issues with it at the moment

Installation issues? What kind of issues? I just downloaded and installed from the Android Market and no problems at all.

What device your friend owns? Unlike iPhone's OS, Android runs in different devices from different manufacturers, and we know (Windows is an example) that it always provokes problems
