Hi folks,
I've just come across this listing on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Atari-ST-Notator- ... 1c15a031cb
which purports to be a dongle less version of Notator.
However, on closer inspection it could be a repeat of the famous 'Notator for the PC' * of a few years ago. Firstly it claims to be Notator 2.3: there never was one (Notator went direct from v.2.2 to 3.0)
while the screenshot shows 3.21 and the ad claims 'no dongle required'.
So this is just some advice of caveat emptor -buyer beware- as it could be a complete disaster.
Further reports welcome from anyone on here!
Best wishes,
Dave.

Re: A new Notator hack, but is it the real thing?
hacks or warez in my opinion do not opress the buyers..
a hack usally raises awarness to the original program
the warez are more like inexpensive demo versions i feel.....
i use cubase hack , but it contributed to me buying all the legit cubase versions too!
so in a way its a good indicating sign to see whos serious about music making and who just decides they want to try it out one day ....
sorry dave , im a cubase and edit track user , never really tried kcs or notator,,,,,,,
thanks for thread
