Hello, I'm looking for someone who may answer some questions I have:
I tried to use ISEQ to make some badass basslines by driving an SH-101. Then with my UNITOR 8, send the ISEQ's clock to a ROland R-8 drummachine and finally to live to have it all synced. I wordked out a solution but as ISEQ only send midiclock and can only be the master, as I didn't find any other option to make the atari st the slave, Live goes wrong with the tempo and it fluctuates so bad.
I was thinking to move on to Maxymiser as it is a much powerful program, but then some questions come to my head.
First : Does Maxymiser receives clock as Live can be the master of all the puppets and don't * up the overall tempo ?
Second : Does Maxymiser sends notes throuhg midi channels so I can drive analog synths with it ?
Third : Can i take profit of the sounds of the internal atari sound chip at the same time I do the above ?
Four : Maxymiser only works in color mode. I have an atari ST and monochrome monitor. Does this makes your atari ST run in a color monitor ? : http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-ST-VGA-MONITO ... 3508wt_935
Cause the atari color monitors are very hard to find and expensive.
Thanks to all of you !
Syncing ISEQ with other gear failed, moving to Maxymiser
