AMN in 2020 FORUM ARCHIVES

This forum is no longer active and is just a static archive of the previous Atari music network's original site went off-line this week.

Unfortunately I have had to take AMN site offline. Hackers are just hammering the site constantly and its crashing parts of the SQL database and corrupting it. Because its running such old versions of stuff I am not really surprised by all this. There is no easy way to update it either as the site is just so broken it's unreal. As said previously, when I took it over from Malcolm a few years ago, I had to do many changes and updates to even get it to run at all. I kept it going as long as I could, but unfortunately its just time to say goodbye. As the website & forum had not been actively used for several years, I did not see any use in having any "active" sites anymore. Mostly users were just looking for information, so I am preserving it as best as I can.

As people should know, I am still slowly transfering articles and downloads from AMN over to the exxos forum, but its very slow going as I am struggling to find time to sort it all out. I have tried to keep as much content and attachments as possible on the forum, but anything which is not present, could just simply be lost in the sands of time. Please note this forum is like 20+ years old now and a lot of the information here is likely outdated.

Existing users can no longer do anything but login. I am unable to find a reasonable method of disabling all accounts at the time of typing.

The atarimusic.net domain was basically stolen, so that site has nothing to do with the original AMN website.
