seeking Cubase 2.01 Manual

Post by sonic »

Hi folks

Can anyone help me get a pdf copy of the Cubase 2.01 manual? I have a legit copy of the software with dongle which a friend sent me, but the postage was too much to send the manual. I think there is a scanned copy out there somewhere, but all the links I have found have been dead.

cheers

While we don't have a Cubase 2.01 manual, we do have a scanned Cubase Audio manual, which also covers all the functions in Cubase 3.

While this may well not seem relevant, all the functions of Cubase 2.01 are covered and the differences are mostly cosmetic. The biggest difference is with the inspector panel, which can be brought up on the left of the track window, which in Cubase 2 and below could only be brought up by double clicking on a part. All of the audio section can be ignored as it really only applies to the Atari Falcon.

If this is of interest to you, the link is http://www.atarimusic.net/Atari-Music-N ... -Audio.pdf
The collection:

Atari 260ST, 520ST, 520ST+, 520STfm, STacy, Mega ST2
Atari STe, Mega STE, ST Book
Atari TT030, with 2GB Hard drive
Atari Falcon, 14MB, 40GB IDE drive
Atari Megafile 44

The website and the Atari bit

Thanks mate yes I found that one and it has been helpful along with the SoundOnSound articles. I thought there was a copy of the 2.01 manual out there somewhere though. Pages from that Cubase Audio manual are almost unreadable when I print them out because the scan is so dark!
