some downloads are not working

I just browse the download section and try some links. But the most downloads are not working. It is a technical problem or with abandonware?

Yes I notice there is a 404 error when trying to download anything. I will contact the site admin here about the problem.

Just been having a look at the back end, all links appear to be there, the system has the software but going through the menu fails.

I think the system may have been updated as Joomla is also throwing up some odd errors while looking. I'll get in touch with the hosting company to see if they can resolve it. This happened a while back when the site was moved to a new server and they managed to fix it quite quickly.

*Update*

Looked through the system and the pages are there, but not being processed for some reason. Tried various things to get the pages to be seen but to no avail.

I've reported it to the site hosts so should have an idea on the issue by morning.

I recently set my camera up and captured a few user manuals for a load of software I no longer have. I had no way of uploading them to the server here, so I sent them un-edited to the Atari Mania website. The quality is not bad considering how quickly I did them, and they just need a bit of auto colour adjustment to make them whiter etc; they are all perfectly readable and were done using my Panasonic DMC-FZ150, a tripod and a wireless remote shutter control under LED kitchen lighting in the late evening.

Right, downloads should be up and running again. At some point the Joomla backend was editedand sections disabled/corrupted. This has now been fixed and it should all be working again.

Many of the software downloads over in the SOFTWARE download section are not working any longer.

I believe this is due to the fact that AMN has been moved to a different server.

Or possibly because the downloadable files are lost.

How do we fix that?
How would you like to be notified of broken links?

Thanks for the report, im not surprised at that. I'm spending time on the new site currently, fixing all the problems with this current site is just futile :-\ I will post updates on the new site as it happens. Of course once the new core is up and stable, then can look into adding things like the PDF pages thing etc.
