Well, just for Your information - a curiosity.
Some people have no 4-bit sound-chip like ym2149.
They use 1-bit quality/resolution chip.

I have to say that sounds incredible! I was completely mesmerised by FAR less on my ZX Spectrum back in 1985, with say the tune from Gyroscope for example.

By the way, we suppose that it would be possible to port those engines into Atari ST too (I think it has a separate 1-bit generator for the keyboard's "click" ), but we don't have any ST coder to prove it.
