Speaking of Windows, I just installed 64-bit Windows 7 with great relief from my dreaded, bloated 64-bit Vista. It runs much faster and has some terrific new features. And guess what software I installed on my freshly formated Windows 7 computer?

The Atari Music Network - Join the Vintage Digital Revolution
Because of work-related necessities, I can't leave Windoze forever, as I liked; however I usa my Mac for almost anything, and (thank you PaRALLELS) the vey few Win-only programs are on my Mac.
Yet there are stuff that I can do faster on my atari, no matter how fast my quad-Xeon PC boots and get ready to work; that's why one of my Falcons is on my office desktop.
we have just about got rid of all PC's from home now, with the exception of one laptop that I occasionally need for running the odd application. Everything day to day is either Mac or Linux now. Funny how as a household we have not had a crash or data loss since.
There is a Macbook pro and iMac for music recording/mastering using Logic Pro, and a good old Falcon connected to the MIDI stuff, with a Yamaha AW2816.
Now, if someone could get the old serial Wacom Intuose tablets working with the Falcon, my world would be complete.
